What SFF is
SFF is an annual fintech conference and trade show in Singapore, started by MAS in 2016. It mixes policy speeches from central banks with an exhibition floor of banks, payment companies, RegTech vendors and digital-asset firms, and it is one of the few events where regulators and the companies they supervise are in the same halls for three days.
The 2025 edition ran from 12 to 14 November and drew a record 65,000 participants, according to Fintech News Singapore. Several of its announcements were about money moving on-chain: MAS's BLOOM initiative for settlement in tokenized bank liabilities and regulated stablecoins, a planned 2026 trial settling tokenized MAS Bills in wholesale central bank money, a Visa stablecoin payout pilot with Nium, a Mastercard and Thunes link for payouts to stablecoin wallets, and the launch of Coinbase Business in Singapore with Standard Chartered.
The five themes for 2026
The festival frames 2026 around five "rewirings". Each has its own sessions across the stages:
- Technology: scaling AI and new infrastructure, and staying ahead of AI-enabled scams.
- Geoeconomic: new economic and payment corridors.
- Capital: where investment goes next.
- Talent: the finance workforce.
- Policy: aligning innovation and regulation. Most stablecoin and tokenisation policy sessions sit here.
Passes and prices
A standard Delegate Pass costs SGD 1,500. Startups incorporated in the last five years pay SGD 650, and a MeetUp Pass with exhibition access costs SGD 380. Central banks, regulators and government staff can apply for a free Policy Pass.
| Pass | Price listed | For |
|---|---|---|
| Delegate | SGD 1,500 | Full conference and exhibition |
| Group | SGD 1,050 each (3-5) / SGD 800 each (10+) | Teams |
| Executive | SGD 6,000 | Adds Insights2040, the Executive Lounge and SFF dinners |
| Startup | SGD 650 | Companies incorporated in the last five years |
| MeetUp | SGD 380 | One-to-one meetings plus the exhibition |
| Policy | Complimentary | Central banks, regulators, government |
The SFF MeetUp app books 15-minute one-to-one meetings, up to 20 per attendee; the organisers say they facilitated more than 20,000 meetings. Book early: the useful slots on the first morning go first.
Sessions to watch for stablecoins and tokenisation
The 2026 agenda has more on on-chain money than on crypto trading. Session titles worth putting in your calendar:
- Stablecoins: From Fringe to Framework and Stablecoins: Can Europe Catch the Wind? on the Policy Stage, Hall 3. Background: the GENIUS Act and MiCA vs GENIUS.
- Stablecoins, Tokenized Deposits and Tokenized MMF: Which Money Earns a Place in the Stack? on the FutureMatters Stage, Hall 5. Our explainer: tokenized deposits vs stablecoins.
- Can Regulation Be Written Into Money Itself?, on tokenized deposits and conditional money.
- RWA & Tokenization: When the Asset Becomes a Token, What Happens to the Rules? and RWA Tokenization: From Products to Liquid Markets. See RWA tokenisation on Stellar.
- Tokenization at Scale: From Pilot to On Chain Money Movement, powered by J.P. Morgan, and Liquidity Fragmentation: Tokenization's Hidden Risk, powered by Hedera.
- Trust by Design: Building the Future of Digital Assets in Asia, powered by Coinbase.
- The Future of Trust: Deepfakes, Synthetic Identity and Proof in the Age of Generative AI on the Policy Stage. This is the session for anyone running KYC.
The Global FinTech Hackcelerator also runs tracks on agentic payments and "Know Your Agent", the question of verifying AI agents that move money. MAS named 42 finalists on 19 October; winners are announced at the SFF FinTech Excellence Awards dinner on 19 November. For the Stellar side of agent payments, see x402 on Stellar.
Who to see on the floor
For identity and compliance, start with iDenfy at booth 5J25-B, in the Lithuanian pavilion in Hall 5. For payments, the Grand sponsors are Ant International, Mastercard, Tencent and Visa. For digital assets, Ripple, Hedera, Cobo, StraitsX, HashKey and Triple-A have booths, and Circle, Coinbase, Binance, OKX and Paxos are listed as sponsors.
iDenfy is the company we single out for crypto and fintech teams. It is a Lithuanian identity verification provider that runs document and face checks, business verification (KYB), AML screening against sanctions and PEP lists, and fraud signals from one API, and it lets customers choose billing for approved verifications only. If you are onboarding users to an exchange, a wallet, a Stellar anchor or a tokenised-asset platform, it is a short walk from the policy talks about who gets to hold regulated tokens to a vendor that does the checking. Full profile: iDenfy explained.
The Lithuanian pavilion also hosts the Bank of Lithuania, Ondato, Go Vilnius and Innovation Agency Lithuania, so it doubles as a stop for anyone weighing an EU licence under MiCA. Our three lists cover the rest:
- Top 20 RegTech companies at SFF 2026
- Top 20 fintech companies at SFF 2026
- Top 20 crypto and digital-asset companies at SFF 2026
Stellar at SFF
The 2026 attending organisations list includes the Stellar Development Foundation. Stellar's pitch to this audience is the regulated end of crypto: USDC and other stablecoins, tokenised funds such as Franklin Templeton's BENJI, and anchors that connect tokens to bank accounts under local rules. If you are new to it, start with stablecoins on Stellar, BENJI on Stellar and how Stellar anchors work.
What SFF 2025 tells you to expect
Last year's announcements set the agenda for this one. MAS's BLOOM initiative, launched in October 2025 with more than 16 banks, financial institutions and fintechs, works on settlement in tokenized deposits and regulated stablecoins; expect updates. MAS also said it would trial tokenized MAS Bills settled in wholesale central bank money in 2026, after a live trial in which DBS, OCBC and UOB settled overnight interbank loans with a wholesale digital Singapore dollar. And MAS said it was finalising its stablecoin regime and preparing draft legislation. If any of these lands during the festival week, it will be the news that matters for anyone holding or issuing stablecoins.
Practical tips
- Plan by hall. The exhibition spans Halls 2 to 6. Big sponsors cluster in Hall 2; most RegTech and digital-asset companies are in Halls 3 to 6.
- Use the exhibitor filters. The listing can be filtered by focus area, including RegTech, Digital Assets and Blockchain & Web3.
- After hours. SFF After Hours is on Wednesday 18 November from 19:00. Side events across the city fill the rest of the week.
- Check claims. Stands sell. Ask vendors for their licences, certifications and audit reports, and check them against the regulator's register. Our DeFi risks guide lists the questions to ask about any on-chain product.
